I asked her why.
And her answer struck me:
"There are thousands of blogs out there and it's really not easy to stand out. However, we don't need more fashion, lifestyle or travel writers - we need people who writes raw & unfiltered. And I know you have it in you. You just don't sugarcoat anything."
I took that as a compliment. 😉
"...but where should I start?"
"Start with what you do for a living. I'm sure you always have something to say about your job."
"...my online services?"
"Yes."
"Do you think someone will really take interest in reading my blog about virtual assistance & social media management?"
"Uh... duh. Yes! ME!!!"
Well from that convo, I think she's actually encouraging me to write again for her sake. 😛
A few days after that encounter, I found myself looking for new blog themes.
What the heck was I doing?!
Nonetheless, I never looked back. I decided to write again not because it's fancy nor trendy, but because someone out there may be needing my words and experiences.
So, if you're reading this today, thank you!
And if you are interested in taking a peek in my life as a virtual assistant, then stick around. We will discuss a lot of things as we go.
Have a great day 💕

ReplyDeleteI totally agree, I've had enough of "selfie bloggers as well". I want my my posts (even if it's long) to be something they bookmark because it's useful. I'm so happy we met online. Good luck to us and our blogs! - cofficehunter :* tinadvincula.com

Now, I'm also in love with your blog. 💕 Please let me know if you're coming to Cebu. I'll love to treat you for coffee. 😘 Good luck to both of us!
